Centennial Titans Volleyball Coaching Staff - 2010

Kari Bensend - Varsity

bensend.jpg Coach Kari Bensend joined Centennial High School as the HEAD VOLLEYBALL COACH in 2003 when the school opened. Coach Bensend is a graduate of Richardson High School. She played in the 4 & 5A High School All-star volleyball game in 1977 in Austin. She is a graduate of Oklahoma University.

In her 25 years of coaching she has only been at 2 schools. The first 20 years at R.L. Turner in Carrolton and the past 6 here at Centennial. The highlight of her coaching career so far came in the summer of '07 when she returned to Austin after 30 years to coach in the 4 & 5A High School All-star Volleyball game.

Erin Carlisle - Junior Varsity

carlysle.jpg Coach Carlisle played volleyball at the University of Tulsa. She then moved back to Dallas where she was the Varsity Assistant Volleyball Coach at Greenhill School, followed by the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at Garland High School. Coach Carlisle is USA Volleyball CAP II and Volleyball Conditioning Specialist certified and also runs the Nationally known Nike Volleyball Camp here in Dallas.

Lacy Dyson - Freshman

dyson.jpg Coach Dyson played college softball at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. She then returned to Texas and began teaching special education at CHS. This is her third year here and is excited to begin a great volleyball year!
