Coach Lankford's greatest reward is her family. She is married to her husband Brian, and they had Nolan Robert Lankford in December of 2008. Her greatest reward is doing a job she loves, and then getting to go home to a wonderful family!
Career Summary
This is Laura Lankford's fourt year of coaching at Frisco High School. She has coached JV for the past two years, and this is her second year as Varsity Coach. She began cheering when she was ten years old, and continued all throughout high school. Along with serving as both JV and Varsity Captain of Rowlett High School, Coach Lankford also cheered for the National AllStars "Cheer Athletics" for five years. In 2002, her high school competitive cheer squad received first place in the ACA National Championships. She also was a five time "Top 3" finisher at NCA nationals with Cheer Athletics. Coach Lankford is also a former ACA All-American cheerleader.

Coach Dawson received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas where she was a member of the UTDallas Co-ed cheerleading squad.
Specialties
Sara Dawson teaches Science TAKS Lab and Integrated Physics and Chemistry at Frisco High School. Sara was the FHS Varsity cheerleading coach for 3 years from 2006-2009 school year. Besides being a Cheerleading coach for the past three years, she also has spent time coaching championship teams in youth volleyball and basketball and was even a waterski and wakeboard instructor for five summers.
Coach Dawson spent her early years as a competitive gymnast and held State titles on both the floor and vault. She graduated from R.L. Turner High School in Carrollton, TX in 2001 where she was an All American Cheerleader and played the oboe in the award winning Lion Band.
In her spare time, Coach Dawson has volunteered for six years as a camp counselor for CampLife, a nonprofit camp which benefits surviving family members of those who have lost their lives in the War in Afghanistan or the War in Iraq.
Awards
Coach Dawson considers her family to be the biggest and best "awards" in her life. Her husband, Peter, and son, Peter Thomas are her pride and joy.
