Summer Planning Activities

We need to get going on plans for senior activities. I have taken suggestions from students, administrators, and parents and come up with a list of activities to provide the class of 2009. At this point, I need volunteers to step up and organize/run the various activities. A group of parents can choose to take ownership of a specific activity, or I can group individual parents together who are interested in doing a particular event.

If there are not enough parents to organize a particular event, the event will be scrapped.

The biggest event we will host will be the lock in after prom. I have spoken with LHS administrators, and they really want to see this event happen at the school and have some very good ideas. We will need to come up with lots of prizes for drawings during the night (airline tickets, laptops, etc.). If anybody has experience in this area, please contact me!

I would like to have your volunteer choices by June 23rd. There is a word document located on our web site at http://www.friscoparents.net/LibertySrs which describes the possible activities with some comments about the number of volunteers which may be needed for that activity.
