Each year Frisco ISD honors the top ten graduates at each high school with a luncheon where they are recognized for their accomplishments and they in turn recognize the teacher who had had the most impact on them in their career. Liberty High School 2009 Seniors - Start of Year Picnic

Back to School Party

• The event was held at Warren Park on August 11th, from 6:00PM-9:00PM. We were able to offer food, music, and games.

Homecoming & Parade & Bonfire

• The event was held on November 8th. This included activities surrounding homecoming, including a bon fire, and parade participation.

Community Service Project

• When: Saturday, April 25, 9:00am to 11:00am at Liberty
• Meet at the front entrance of LHS for Clean It & Green It. This is a senior/parent community service event to help clean the campus and surrounding areas. Clean up will end at 11:00am. After the clean up, at 11:15, EVERYONE that participated in the cleanup is invited back to IKEA for games, prizes, education, and a free lunch provided by IKEA.
• We did not have a lot of people show up, but we did manage to collect eight large trash bags full of trash. Thank you to the students and parents for helping clean our campus.

Senior Day at Six Flags

• When: Friday, May 22

Baccalaureate

• When: Sunday, May 31 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Frisco.
• Description: The origin of the Baccalaureate dates back to the middle Ages when meaningful symbols were associated with the attainment of an achievement. Each student participating will be given a rose, a symbol of their life. We tie a continuous ribbon to each rose. This ribbon represents the unity of the class as they traveled down the same path in education. As each student cuts this ribbon, it symbolizes that they are moving on from their childhood friends and their readiness to follow their own personal dreams.

Senior Breakfast

• When: Friday, June 5 - 8:30am - LHS cafeteria.
• Description; We will sponsor a Senior lunch before the mandatory rehearsal for graduation. We will present a slide show for the seniors.

Graduation

• When: Saturday, June 6th at 2:00PM
• Description: Our first graduating class. The event is planned to be held at the newly remodeled Dr. Pepper Stars Center.

2009 Legacy Gift

• When: Unveil around graduation
• Description: Coordinate fund raisers during the year in order to purchase a lasting and memorable gift to Liberty High School from the Class of 2009.
