- “Liberty went toe-to-toe with District 12-4A runner-up Bryan Adams on Thursday at Richardson Berkner. The Lady Cougars entered the match having won 10 of their last 11, including a sweep of North Dallas (25-9, 25-23, 25-14) in bi-district. But the Lady Redhawks simply had too much in the arsenal to be stopped short of reaching the regional tournament. Liberty (33-6) made Bryan Adams look like a middle school team, taking the Dallas ISD school to the woodshed to the tune of 25-4, 25-2, 25-8. It was the largest margin of victory for the Lady Redhawks all season.”
